On February 16, 2014 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valerii Zhovtenko participated in the festive events on the occasion of the Day of Restoration of Lithuania’s Statehood.

As part of celebrations were held a ceremony of flag-raising of the Baltic States at the S.Daukanto square supplemented with a speech made by the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, as well as a solemn Mass in the Vilnius Cathedral, and a festive concert.
