On April 16, 2014 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valerii Zhovtenko participated in the commemorative forum “Wave Crash 1949” dedicated to the victims of the massive wave of deportations from the Baltic States.

The event was organized with the assistance of the Seimas of Lithuania, and was attended by the Lithuanian deputies, members of relevant institutions and non-governmental organizations, as well as representatives of diplomatic corps.
