On May 26, 2014, Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. V.Zhovtenko took part in the discussion on the topic: "The Alert on Eastern Partnership for EuroAtlantic Community - No More Luxury of Bowling Alone" that was organized by Freedom House in cooperation with the European Information Office of the Seimas.

The discussion was focused on the elections in Ukraine and developments in other Eastern Partnership countries.  President of Freedom House Mr. David J. Kramer presented the perspective from WashingtonDC, while Deputy Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Mr. Petras Austrevicius and Director of the Eastern Neighbourhood Policy Department, Lithuanian MFA Mr. Edminas Bagdonas discussed the challenges and opportunities seen from Vilnius and Brussels.

The representatives of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, diplomatic corps, NGOs and political analysts also participated in the discussion.

Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. V.Zhovtenko had a talk with the President "Freedom House" Mr. David J. Kramer on results of presidential election in Ukraine as well the European integration policy of the Ukrainian state was discussed.
