On July 6, 2014 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valery Zhovtenko took part in the celebration of the Lithuania State Day - the coronation of the King Mindaugas.

President of the Republic of Lithuania Ms.D.Grybauskaitė, Prime-Minister of Lithuania Mr.A. Butkevičius, Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Mrs. L.Graužinienė,  other Lithuanian officials, heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in Vilnius, distinguished guests, the representatives of the Lithuanian society participated at the celebrations.

The festivities begans with the ceremony of raising the Lithuanian State flag and the Standard of the President at the square in front of the Presidential palace.

President of the Republic of Lithuania Ms.D.Grybauskaitė addressed the audience with a speech.
