On August 21, 2014 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valerii Zhovtenko met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania Rimantė Šalaševičiūtė.

The parties discussed the current political situation in Ukraine, plans of bilateral cooperation in medical sphere, as well as possibility of treatment and rehabilitation in Lithuania of Ukrainian soldiers who were wounded during the anti-terrorist operation in the Eastern Ukraine.
After the meeting the Ambassador gave an interview to the Lithuanian TV channel "Lietuvos Ryto TV".
