On February 9, 2015 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Mr.Valery Zhovtenko had a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to the Republic of Lithuania Mr. Amir Maimon.

During the meeting Ambassadors have discussed the topical issues of Ukrainian-Israeli cooperation. The special attention was focused on the issues of regional and international security.

The Embassy of Israel started its work in the Republic of Lithuania on January 26, 2015.
