On April 20, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Ihor Prokopchuk met with Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Evaldas Ignatavičius. The topical issues of bilateral relations and practical preparation of visits and meetings on the high political level were discussed during the meeting.

I.Prokopchuk informed his counterpart about the priorities of Ukraine's foreign policy determined by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. Special attention was paid to the results of the participation of the President of Ukraine in the Summit on Nuclear Safety on 12-13 April and Ukraine's decision to remove from its territory the highly-enriched nuclear materials.
