On September 21 the Seimas of Lithuania hosts the charity exhibition-sale "Icons on the ammunition boxes". Authors of icons – a couple of Ukrainian artists, Sophia Atlantova and Alexander Klimenko, who combined the traditions of the Orthodox iconography with present hard times: the icons are painted on wooden ammunition boxes as well as on camouflage fabric scorched by war in the Eastern Ukraine.

 

70% of the funds raised during the exhibition-sale will be directed to the needs of the First mobile volunteer hospital named after M.Pyrohov.

 

The exhibition is open in the lobby (showroom) of the Seimas, 2 entrance, and will last until September 30, 2015
