The President of Ukraine held a working visit to Lithuania

On December 2, 2015 the President of Ukraine H.E. Petro Poroshenko held a working visit to the Republic of Lithuania.
The President of Ukraine met with the President of the Republic of Lithuania H.E. Dalia Grybauskaité in tête-à-tête format and co-chaired at the 8th meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania. The Heads of State of Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania had the joint press conference and participated at the opening ceremony of the 1st Ukrainian-Lithuanian Economic Forum.
During the visit the President of Ukraine had also met with the Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania H.E. Loreta Graužinienė and the Prime Minister of Lithuania H.E. Algirdas Butkevičius, and gave an interview to the leading Lithuanian TV channel “LNK”
The President of Ukraine visited the Taras Shevchenko monument in Vilnius and had a meeting with the Ukrainian community of Lithuania.
The working visit of the President of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania resulted in signing the Program of cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, and the Protocol of the 8th meeting of the Council of the Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania.
