On February 26, 2016 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania V.Yatsenkivskyi met with the Vilnius City Mayor Remigijus Šimašius.

            During the meeting, major issues of Ukrainian-Lithuanian cooperation and development of partnership between Vilnius and Kyiv, as well as other Ukrainian cities, were discussed.

            The parties exchanged views on issues of Ukrainian-Lithuanian cooperation in cultural, educational and scientific spheres in the context of implementing the joint cultural projects in the framework of the celebration of the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Lithuania.
