On April 7, 2016 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi met with the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Loreta Graužinienè.

The parties discussed topical issues of Ukrainian-Lithuanian bilateral political dialogue and inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as the recent developments in Ukraine in regard with the Russia’s military aggression in the Eastern regions and temporary occupation of the Crimea.

The parties have also exchanged views on the results of a consultative referendum in the Netherlands on ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. The Speaker of the Lithuania Seimas reaffirmed the constant support of the European integration strategy of Ukraine.

The Ambassador of Ukraine confirmed Ukraine's determination to continue the path of European integration.
