On April 19, 2016 eleven military servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, wounded during anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine, have arrived to the Republic of Lithuania for receiving rehabilitation and medical treatment at the medical institutions of the Republic of Lithuania.

Ukrainian military servicemen arrived in Vilnius together with the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania Juozas Olekas, who payed a visit to Ukraine on April 18-19, 2016. At the airport Ukrainian military servicemen were met by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi.
