The meeting of Mykola Prysiazhnuk, Minister of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine, and Kazis Starkevičius, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, took place in Vilnius on August 19, 2010.

The practical issues of Ukraine-Lithuania cooperation in agriculture were discussed during the negotiations. Both Ministers reached an agreement on common activities aiming at attraction foreign investments into agricultural sector and implementation of modern technology in foodprocessing industry.

Charge d’Affairs a.i. of Ukraine in the Republic of Lithuania Serhii Popyk participated at the meetings and negotiations in the frameworks of the visit of the Ministry’s of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine delegation.
