On May 19, 2016 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania Juras Požela.

The parties discussed current and perspective bilateral cooperation in medical sphere, treatment and rehabilitation in Lithuania of Ukrainian soldiers who were wounded during the anti-terrorist operation in the Eastern Ukraine, as well as possible recreation in Lithuania of Ukrainian chidren, in particular, those from the socially vulnerable categories of population.
