On December 28, 2016 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi with spouse participated in the Grand Menorah Lightning Ceremony on the occasion of the Jewish holiday “Hanukkah” at the invitation of the head of the Jewish religious organization “Chabad Lubavitch” Rabbi Sholom Ber Krinsky.

At the ceremony, which took place on one of the central squares of Vilnius, were also present the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis, Mayor of Vilnius Remigijus Šimašius, parliamentarians, government officials, diplomats, representatives of the Jewish community of Lithuania and the media.
