On April 4, 2017, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi held a meeting at the Embassy with Ukrainian military servicemen who came to Lithuania for rehabilitation at the Military rehabilitation center of the town of Druskininkai. During the meeting Ukrainian soldiers handed the books from the Publishing house “ASSA” (Kharkiv, Ukraine) for children of Ukrainian community in Lithuania.

During 2014-2016 and January-March 2017 period, 143 Ukrainian officers and soldiers received treatment and rehabilitation at the medical institutions of Lithuania.
