On June 15-16, 2017, the 17th meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Lithuanian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, chaired by Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius, took place in Vilnius. Representatives of the governmental bodies and business circles of Ukraine and Lithuania, as well as of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Lithuania, took part in the work of the Commission.
The Commission considered issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, transport, energy, agriculture, space, environmental protection, social security, health, tourism, standardization and metrology, as well as cooperation at the level of business circles of Ukraine and Lithuania. As a result of the work of the Commission, the Protocol of the meeting was signed. It became a kind of road map of Ukrainian-Lithuanian cooperation for the nearest future.
