On July 26, 2018 Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi, together with representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine, visited the military summer camp "Žalgiris 2018" organized by the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union at the Pabrade polygon in Lithuania.

During the trip Ambassador of Ukraine held warm talks with a group of cadets of the Ivan Bohun Military High School who take part in the camp on the invitation of the Lithuanian side together with their peers from Lithuania, Estonia and Poland.

Also, Ambassador of Ukraine held a meeting with Commander of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union LTC Gintaras Koryzna, during which he expressed the gratitude to the leadership of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union for supporting Ukraine and the organization of participation of Ukrainian children-military cadets in the military summer camp "Žalgiris 2018", as well as discussed prospects for further cooperation with this organization.

During the visit of the summer camp objects, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania had conversations with representatives of the armed forces of Poland, Estonia and Lithuania, during which was discussed the experience of the organization of military patriotic education of youth.
