On February 20, 2019, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi had the meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine headed by Director of the Department of Military Policy, Strategic Planning and International Cooperation Oleh Melihov, which came in Vilnius for political-military talks with Lithuanian colleagues.

During the meeting, the current security situation and perspectives of the cooperation between the defense ministries of Ukraine and Lithuania in 2019 were discussed.
