On 4 September, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta together with Ambassador of Latvia to Lithuania Solveiga Silkalna handed over an invitation to the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Ms Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen to participate in the Third Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform. 

The Third Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform will be held in Riga in October this year, jointly organised by Ukraine and Latvia. The event will be co-organised by the Speaker of the Saeima of Latvia Daiga Mierinā and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The Third Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform aims to raise global awareness and support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders, as well as to highlight the global impact of Russian aggression and continue to shed light on the aggressor's crimes at the international level.
