On April 13, 2021 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Mr. Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi met with Mr. Egidijus Meilūnas, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.

During the discussion the two sides discussed a wide range of topical issues, especially in the context of the deterioration of the security situation in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine’s Donbas, as well as Russian military concentration along Ukraine’s state border and at the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

Ambassador Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi highly appreciated Lithuania’s strong and unwavering support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders as well as the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of our State.

The Sides also exchanged views on a number of other important issues of the global agenda.
