Lithuania's assistance to Ukraine is versatile and effective.

Another example of the contribution to our common victory is the assistance of Kaunas University of Health Sciences, one of the largest higher education institutions in the field of Biomedical Sciences in Lithuania with 100 years of academic experience.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the academic community of the University actively supports medical higher education institutions of Ukraine in training specialists based on the advanced techniques.

During October 25-28, Kaunas University of Health Sciences organized training for 20 professionals from the Universities of Lviv, Odesa, Uzhgorod, and Chernivtsi under the specialized program of providing emergency medical care and life support for various types of traumas.
