First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė and Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of the Belgians visited the Ukrainian heart of Lithuania – the Ukrainian Center, which was created in Vilnius on the initiative and under the patronage of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė. 

During this warm meeting, the First Lady of Lithuania and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians spoke with Ukrainian families who were forced to leave their homes due to the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine and found shelter in the Republic of Lithuania. 

The head of the "Ukrainian Center" Algirdas Kumža spoke about the history of the establishment and features of the functioning of the centre. Honourable guests felt the incredible atmosphere of the Ukrainian Center, visited the exhibition of children's drawings, and listened to Ukrainian songs performed by the Ukrainian amateur choir and children's creative groups that are engaged in the center's activities. 

Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Petro Beshta, while welcoming Queen Mathilde of the Belgians at the Ukrainian Center, thanked Her Majesty for this important visit and special attention to Ukrainian families, and once again expressed gratitude to the First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė for her unwavering support and sincere care for the citizens of Ukraine in Lithuania.
