Radarom in action!

Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began a four-day course on the operation of high-tech radars, which is held with the support of the Armed Forces of Lithuania. Ukrainian servicemen will be trained by Lithuanian and foreign experts in the use of radar technologies in the city of Kaunas in Division General Stasys Raštikis Lithuanian Armed Forces School.

According to the results of Lithuania's largest fundraising campaign Radarom, during which a record 14 million euros were collected, it is planned to purchase 16 multifunctional tactical radars for Ukraine. The delivery of the first radars to Ukraine will take place shortly, immediately after the completion of the training course. These Israeli-made radars are unique in that they are capable of detecting objects of any type, size, and speed in the airspace, which means more reliable monitoring of the skies of Ukraine, protection of Ukrainian lives, and preservation of critical infrastructure.
