Today Minister of Health of Ukraine Raisa Bohatyr’ova completed the visit to the Republic of Lithuania. During the visit she held the meetings and negotiations with the Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius, Minister of Health of Lithuania Vytenis Andriukaitis, and European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy Tonio Borg.

In the frameworks of the visit Raisa Bohatyr’ova took part in the international conference “Sustainable Health Systems for Inclusive Growth in Europe”.

Following the visit and negotiations held with the Lithuanian side it was agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation in the sphere of health protection, as well as to continue interaction in transforming the health protection system of Ukraine towards European standards.
