On May 6, 2011 veterans of the War 1941-1945 – citizens of Ukraine, currently living in Lithuania, were invited to the Embassy of Ukraine for commemorating Victory Day.

Serhii Popyk, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Republic of Lithuania, greeted veterans and their relatives and handed them special gifts.

This day joint dinner and concert for veterans also took place in Vilnius. The event was organized by located in Lithuania Embassies of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
