On August 24, 2015 in the Chapel of the Gate of Dawn (Aušros Vartų Dievo Motina),Vilnius was held a public worship by both Ukrainian and Lithuanian priests for peace in Ukraine on the occasion of celebrating the 24^th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine.

During the worship was addressed a prayer for the Ukrainian state and Ukrainian people, and was held a solemn liturgy for Ukrainians being killed  at the Anti-Terrorist Operation at the Eastern Ukraine.

The event was attended by the Embassy staff, the representatives of the Vilnius Community of Ukrainians and the Lithuanian society.
