On October 14, 2015 on the occasion of celebrating the Protection of Ever-Virgin Mary and the Day of Defender of Ukraine in the Chapel of the Gate of Dawn (Aušros Vartų Dievo Motina),Vilnius was held a public worship for peace in Ukraine, and freedom and independence of the UkrainianState.

During the worship was addressed a prayer for the Ukrainian people, and for Ukrainians being killed at the Anti-Terrorist Operation at the Eastern Ukraine.

The event was attended by the Embassy staff, priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, as well as representatives of the Vilnius Community of Ukrainians and the Lithuanian society.
