On January 14, 2016 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi presented the Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on the topical issues of the bilateral strategic dialogue, further continuation of the Lithuanian political support, humanitarian and technical assistance to Ukraine.

The conversation also discussed the EU visa liberalisation for Ukrainian citizens and the launch of the EU-Ukraine Free Trade Area Agreement, as well as ongoing Ukrainian state reforms.
