On the September 22, 2010 in the Seimas European club Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Lithuania Serhij Popyk took part in discussion “European Union Eastern Partnership: one year later”.

The representatives of the Seimas and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, representatives of foreign diplomatic corps, accredited to Lithuania, as well as leading Lithuanian experts took part in this event.

S. Popyk stressed that European integration remains a priority course of the foreign policy of Ukraine. However, the Ukrainian side considers the program "Eastern Partnership" as an additional mechanism for European integration of Ukraine and is interested in implementing of concrete projects on European integration.

Participants discussed the efficiency of the "Eastern Partnership" program and encouraged to take additional measures to increase interest in this initiative of the partner countries.
