On March 18, 2016 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi held a meeting at the Embassy with three Ukrainian wounded servicemen who receives rehabilitation at the Military rehabilitation center of the town of Druskininkai.

The Ambassador also handed over the books to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the Lithuanian military center’s library. Ukrainian publishers who participated in 17-th Vilnius international book fair asked the Embassy to pass those books to wounded Ukrainian soldiers.   

During 2014-2015 and January-March 2016 period 77 Ukrainian soldiers and officers received treatment and rehabilitation at the medical institutions of Lithuania.
