On March 22, 2016 representatives of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania who actively participated in creation of LITPOLUKRBRIG were awarded at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Lithuania.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi presented the Ukrainian MoD “Sign of Honor” to the Lithuanian Land Forces Chief of Staff Colonel Dalius Polekauskas and Legal Adviser of the Lithuanian MoND Major Martinas Bandza, and the “Medal for support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” to Advisor of the Lithuanian MoND Mr. Andrius Vaivada.   

Lithuanian MoND Vice-minister Marius Velicka took part in the ceremony. The Ambassador of Ukraine and Lithuanian MoND Vice-minister greeted awardees and expressed confidence that LITPOLUKRBRIG will strengthen trilateral cooperation in security field between Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland.
