On July 3, 2012 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valerii Zhovtenko met with Kristina Vaiciunaite, Director of the Eastern Europe Studies Centre.

Topical issues of international agenda and regional politics, Ukraine’s European integration, as well as the implementation of the Eastern Partnership initiative were discussed during the meeting.

Special attention was paid to the issues of establishing practical cooperation between the Eastern Europe Studies Centre in Vilnius and Ukrainian research and expert centers, as well as organizing information and image campaigns about Ukraine in Lithuania.
