On July 3, 2012 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valerii Zhovtenko met with Kristina Vaičiunaitė, Director of the Eastern Europe Studies Centre.

The topical issues of of international agenda and regional politics, the Ukraine’s European integration as well as implementation of the Eastern Partnership initiative were discussed during the meeting.

Special attention was paid to the issues of establishing practical cooperation between the Eastern Europe Studies Centre in Vilnius and the Ukrainian research and expert centers.
