On July 04, 2018 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi held a warm meeting with four wounded Ukrainian militarymen who receive rehabilitation at the Military rehabilitation center of the town of Druskininkai. Also, servicemen were greeted by the deputy head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Ilmi Umerov who is on a visit to Lithuania.

During 2014-2018 period 209 Ukrainian servicemen received treatment and rehabilitation at the medical institutions of Lithuania.
