Education today is a strategic component of our overall resilience and the basis for the restoration of the state.

In the framework of the regional working visit to Klaipeda, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta met with the Rector of Klaipeda University Arturas Razbadauskas, and the academic community of the university.

During the meeting with the leadership of one of the leading Lithuanian universities, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania discussed the possibilities of deepening cooperation with Ukrainian higher education institutions, further support for students from Ukraine, and the implementation of projects that will contribute to the successful integration of Ukrainian universities into the European Education and Research Area.

During the visit, Petro Beshta also took part in a discussion with Ukrainian and Lithuanian students of Klaipeda University. The Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania expressed his belief that after Ukraine's victory over Russia, the future will be in the hands of today's Ukrainian students, their energy, and creative minds, which our country will need so much for its recovery.

The discussion included a presentation of the activities of the Ukrainian Youth Group in Lithuania, which aims to build a strong network of socially active Ukrainian youth and promote knowledge exchange and cooperation through various events.

Currently, there are about 100 students from Ukraine studying at Klaipeda University. The Lithuanian university actively supports Ukrainian students, offers various study opportunities, and has already signed 10 cooperation agreements with Ukrainian higher education institutions.
