• Ukraine's membership in NATO should not be a result of war, should not be something that comes after the war, but should be an element of Ukraine's victory strategy. 
• NATO partners should not play by the rules that Russia is trying to impose in order to wage a long-term, exhausting war. A powerful step would be to invite Ukraine to join NATO at this Summit. 
• A critical issue for Ukraine at the moment is the decision to remove restrictions on the use of weapons on the front line. 
• Ukraine is preparing for the first Global Peace Summit. We have sent 160 invitations to world leaders, and more than fifty leaders have agreed to participate. 
• Ahead of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, Russia has stepped up its efforts in Europe and around the world to reduce support for Ukraine and downplay the chances of country leaders to attend the Summit.
• The West is still full of fear of Russian escalation, and Russia is exploiting this fear.
