On February 21, 2025, the Second Annual International Conference "Lithuania for Ukraine" took place at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, dedicated to the third year since the start of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
The official part of the event was opened by:
"We may hold institutional powers or have a mandate of trust from our voters. But each of us also has a moral compass. We clearly distinguish between good and evil, between friend and foe. We know what must be done and what must be prevented. Our nations seek a true, just, and comprehensive peace. Ukraine will do everything possible to achieve such peace this year. Peace, not a temporary ceasefire," stated Ambassador Olha Nikitchenko in her address to the conference participants.

The "Lithuania for Ukraine" conference served as a crucial platform for informing the international community about the situation in Ukraine’s frontline regions. Discussions focused on the urgent need to enhance military, humanitarian, and political support to ensure Ukraine’s victory and the full restoration of its sovereignty. Special attention was given to Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, reaffirming unwavering solidarity with Ukraine.
