On February 21, 2025, the Second Annual International Conference "Lithuania for Ukraine" took place at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, dedicated to the third year since the start of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.

The official part of the event was opened by:

• Juozas Olekas, Deputy Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania
• Olha Nikitchenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania
• Paulius Saudargas, Member of the European Parliament
• Petras Auštrevičius, Member of the European Parliament
• Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis, Member of the European Parliament
• Kęstutis Kudzmanas, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister of Lithuania on International Relations
• Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė, Ambassador of Lithuania to Ukraine (online)
• Andrius Kubilius, European Commissioner for Defence and Space (online)

"We may hold institutional powers or have a mandate of trust from our voters. But each of us also has a moral compass. We clearly distinguish between good and evil, between friend and foe. We know what must be done and what must be prevented. Our nations seek a true, just, and comprehensive peace. Ukraine will do everything possible to achieve such peace this year. Peace, not a temporary ceasefire," stated Ambassador Olha Nikitchenko in her address to the conference participants.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian delegation, including:

• Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration
• Mykola Yatsenko, Head of the Tyahynka Rural Military Administration of Beryslav District, Kherson Region
• Serhii Skoryk, Director of the National Nature Park "Kamianska Sich"
• Representatives of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (online)

The "Lithuania for Ukraine" conference served as a crucial platform for informing the international community about the situation in Ukraine’s frontline regions. Discussions focused on the urgent need to enhance military, humanitarian, and political support to ensure Ukraine’s victory and the full restoration of its sovereignty. Special attention was given to Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, reaffirming unwavering solidarity with Ukraine.
