Lithuania will continue to support Ukraine in restoring the energy sector: Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta meets with Lithuanian Minister of Energy Dainius Kreivys.
The key topic of the conversation was the Lithuanian side's assistance in restoring Ukraine's energy infrastructure after the Russian attacks.
Also during the meeting, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania presented the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, III degree, to the Minister of Energy of Lithuania.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the Minister of Energy of Lithuania with this state award for the significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and popularizing the Ukrainian state in the world.
Lithuania has already provided EUR 13.5 million to restore Ukraine's destroyed energy infrastructure and plans to allocate almost EUR 12 million more to support Ukraine's energy sector.
