The performance "Christmas Story" is a small miracle on St. Nicholas Day for the visitors of the Ukrainian Center, which strengthens the belief in a bright peaceful future, the invincibility of Ukrainian traditions and the strength of our unity.
On December 19, the Ukrainian heart of Lithuania - the Ukrainian Center - hosted a celebration of the bright holiday, which was attended by the honorary guest of the event, the First Lady of Lithuania Mrs. Diana Nausėdienė, as well as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta with his wife Anna Beshta and Vice-Rector of Vytautas Magnus University Vilma Bijeikienė.
"Light always conquers darkness and I wish the patron saint to accompany you in all difficulties and trials. May St. Nicholas cherish your faith, give you strength and protect you and your loved ones. I wish every dream, even the most cherished, to come true. And my dream and the dream of the whole Lithuania for the next year is peace in Ukraine," the First Lady of Lithuania Dalia Nausėdienė emphasized.
Addressing the visitors of the Center Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta said: "St. Nicholas has long been revered in Ukraine as a protector, mentor and patron of children, as well as an assistant to travelers and all those who need help the most. Therefore, I sincerely wish that the Holy Wonderworker will give you his care, endurance and patience to those who are far from their families because of the terrible war."
We sincerely thank the organizers and participants of the festive performance, who managed to return joy and smiles to the lives of Ukrainian children.
