On December 15, 2022, under the patronage of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and the First Lady of the Republic of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė, a Ukrainian-language audio guide was launched at the National Museum "Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania".
Despite the war, the project launched by the First Lady of Ukraine in 2020 is more relevant today than ever. Because now there are 70 thousand more Ukrainians in Lithuania, and from now on they will be able to plunge into the rich history of Lithuania with the Ukrainian language.
Ukraine and Lithuania have much in common, the strategic partnership of our countries has been tested by both common historical events and common culture. By launching the Ukrainian-language audio guide in the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, a unique archaeological and architectural reserve, the building of which was reconstructed in the early XXI century, the Ukrainian and Lithuanian people are getting closer.
We sincerely thank the Director of the National Museum "The Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania" Mr. Vydas Dolinskas and all responsible employees of the Museum for their support and assistance in the preparation of this important event of cultural diplomacy.
We invite all Ukrainians in Vilnius and guests of the Lithuanian capital to an interesting and informative tour.
