On October 9, a unique mural "Unbreakable" was unveiled in the center of the Lithuanian capital, carrying a powerful message to the whole world: Ukraine has been, is and will be. Thanks to the heroism of Ukrainian defenders and the resilience of the entire Ukrainian people. Despite the constant efforts of Russia, the aggressor country.
The photo that formed the basis of the mural was taken on the island of Khortytsia a week after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. It is a symbol that even a large-scale man-made and environmental disaster created by Russian terrorists will not stop us. We will still liberate all our land.
This mural is a symbol of true friendship between the Ukrainian and Lithuanian peoples, a symbol of exemplary partnership and courage of our Lithuanian friends. They are walking this path to victory together with us. They stand side by side with us, understand and support us.
And it is symbolic that the mural was created here, in the center of Vilnius, which bears the honorary title of "City of Rescuer" for the unprecedented solidarity shown by the Lithuanian capital and comprehensive assistance to Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homeland.
We would like to thank the project organizers, the Lithuanian National Commission for UNESCO and the Artscape art agency, for this opportunity. As well as the Chancellery of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Turto bankas, Kiaurai Sienas. Meno laboratorija and all partners for their help!
