February 24, 2025 marks three years since the start of russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine. Three years of courage, resilience, unity, and determination of Ukrainians in their fight for freedom. Three years of unwavering support from Lithuania — our true friends.
Today, on February 23, the 130thrally in support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people took place at Cathedral Square in Vilnius.
Speakers at the event included:
"Glory to Ukraine!" was heard in more than 20 languages, as heads and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Lithuania joined their voices in support of Ukraine. At that moment, the entire square felt the true power of unity when voices from around the world came together to stand with Ukraine.
Addressing the audience, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Olha Nikitchenko emphasized:
"Today, Lithuania and Lithuanians stand in the same trenches with Ukraine. Your assistance is truly comprehensive. Your support is unique. Our gratitude is boundless. Every Ukrainian in Ukraine and around the world will confirm this."
Following the rally, a march through the streets of Vilnius took place, with 30-meter flags of Ukraine and Lithuania, once again reaffirming: we stand together in the fight for freedom.
We sincerely thank Arkadijus Vinokuras, a true friend of Ukraine, for initiating these rallies in support of Ukraine!
We thank the International Ukrainian School in Lithuania!
We thank all the participants!
