On April 3, the 50th meeting in support of Ukraine was held in Vilnius.
The meeting is dedicated to the anniversary of the liberation of the cities and towns of Kyiv region from the russian occupation and honoring the memory of Ukrainians whose lives were taken by merciless russian terror.
President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili, Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta, US Ambassador to Lithuania Robert S. Gilchrist, Ambassador of Sweden to Lithuania Inger Buxton, Deputy of the Seimas of Lithuania Emanuelis Zingeris and the mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Markushyn addressed the participants with words of support for Ukraine.
Archbishop Gintaras Grušas said a special prayer for Ukraine and words of blessing for the Ukrainian people.
We sincerely thank the brotherly Lithuanian people for their unprecedented support from the first minutes of the russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, and their unchanging solidarity and faith in the peaceful future of Ukraine, Europe, and the whole world!
