On May 25, the Ambassador of Ukraine in Lithuania Petro Beshta, during a working visit in Kaunas, visited the private Ukrainian school "Glory to Heroes".
The educational institution was founded in Kaunas, Lithuania, in March 2022, and in the summer of the same year, it was accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of Lithuania to conduct the educational process in Ukrainian, following the curricula of Ukraine and Lithuania.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania talked to the school's principal Andrius Pelegrimas, the school administration, teachers, and students, and agreed to continue active cooperation between the Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania and the Ukrainian school.
Currently, more than 400 students attend the Ukrainian school. In addition, Ukrainian teachers are employed at the school.
The school is open to changes, innovations, and modern, and focused on the needs and abilities of each student, developing subject and general competencies and personal qualities.
