On February 13, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Lithuania hosted a landmark event - Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta honored prominent Lithuanian figures and true friends of Ukraine with the state awards of Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy conferred state awards for a significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and popularizing the Ukrainian state in the world:

- Paulius Saudargas, Vice Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania

- Žygimantas Pavilionis, Chairman of the Seimas Committee on Foreign Affairs

- Edmundas Jakilaitis, Lithuanian volunteer, public figure, journalist, TV presenter and producer

- Jonas Ohman, public figure, journalist, translator, film director and volunteer

We sincerely thank our Lithuanian friends for their constant support, unwavering solidarity and tireless work side by side with Ukraine and Ukrainians since the first days of russia's bloody war against Ukraine.
