What is the role of Ukrainian youth in the revival of Ukraine both after the victory and today? What should the new innovative European Ukraine look like? These and many other important issues were the topic of discussion of Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta with Ukrainian students studying at Lithuanian universities in Kaunas.
"We are facing significant challenges – it is not only a victory, it is building a new Ukraine, it is our European integration. For which you and your contribution are undoubtedly very important. Because first and foremost, Ukraine is not only a territory within its sovereign borders, it is people," Petro Beshta said.
Ambassador Petro Beshta told the participants about the project "UA – Ukrainian Abroad", launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in cooperation with partners, and invited all interested young Ukrainians to join this initiative. The project will create new opportunities for young people who participate in it, including inspiring them to realize themselves and be useful to the state in times of full-scale war.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania also emphasized that without the activity of Ukrainians abroad it would be much more difficult to maintain the support of our partners, so any opportunity to talk about Ukraine should be used and should not be neglected.
The meeting took place at Vytautas Magnus University and was moderated by Kateryna Horiunova, Head of the Center of Mariupol University in Lithuania.
We thank everyone for their participation and activity!
