On September 29, the" Ukrainian Center " hosted a creative evening of artists from Chernihiv – Oksana Kornienko and Larisa Duschak, who presented a joint cultural project that aims to help revive Chernihiv, the hometown of the artist and poetess. After Brussels, Vilnius became the second European capital to see the works of the authors.
During the opening of the event, Ukrainian Ambassador to Lithuania Petro Beshta noted: "Chernihiv region from the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion in Ukraine has become one of those regions that heroically held back Russian aggression, preventing the invaders from advancing from the northern direction and capturing the capital of Ukraine. Despite all the destruction, oppression and shelling, Chernihiv withstood and restrained the invasion of the Russian Horde. Our Ukraine will survive and will definitely win!"
We are grateful to the authors Oksana Kornienko and Larisa Duschak for presenting their works at the Ukrainian center, as well as for their desire to help Chernihiv, the Hero City of Ukraine.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the organization of this event, volunteers and all our guests!
Ukrainians are indestructible! Together, we will definitely rebuild every city, every street and corner of Ukraine.
