‘Russia is a terrorist state’ - under this slogan a protest action was held in Vilnius against mass missile strikes carried out by Russian invaders throughout Ukraine on the morning of October 10.
The participants of the action called on the international community to consolidate its efforts as much as possible to help the Ukrainian people in their fight against the aggressor country, which compensates the defeat at the front by the merciless terror of peaceful Ukrainian cities. At this critical moment, the democratic world must take decisive measures to end Russian terror and mass murder: strengthen sanctions, close the sky, increase military aid and arms supplies.
During the rally, Ukrainian Ambassador to Lithuania Petro Beshta appealed to the participants not to forget that the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people continues: "Ukraine is not a member state of the EU or NATO, but it was Ukraine that today took on the mission to protect the European and Euro-Atlantic community from the common enemy."
We are sincerely grateful to all our Ukrainians and Lithuanian friends who took part in the event!
