The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports of Liechtenstein Mrs. Dominique Hasler, who is on a visit to Lithuania, visited the Ukrainian Center, where she met with the First Lady of Lithuania Mrs. Diana Nausėdienė, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Peter Beshta and the rector of Vytautas the Great University Juozas Augutis.
During the meeting, the head of the Ukrainian Center Algirdas Kumža, coordinators, and volunteers told Ms. Dominique Hasler about the activities of the first such open cultural and educational space in the EU countries, created under the patronage and at the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and the First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė, and also introduced with the unique activities and initiatives of the center.
As Mrs. Diana Nausėdienė noted: "The center can become a platform where bilateral or tripartite initiatives develop. We are ready to consider the possibilities of cooperation with Liechtenstein, promoting the activities of the Ukrainian Center, together identify potential areas of interest and undertake the implementation of specific projects."
Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta expressed his special thanks to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports of Liechtenstein Mrs. Dominique Hasler for the important display of attention and visit to the Ukrainian Center, and also invited to consider the possibility of cooperation with the Center in the cultural and educational spheres.
